The nature of the organization is one that operates within the Metal, engineering and manufacturing industry respectively. The organization was founded in 1996 by Mervyn Davids a BBEEE individual entrepreneur who, after the journey of previous successful business endeavors, established the Close Cooperation and developed it into a well-established fully functional trailer manufacturing business.

The founder was a seasoned coded welder with 47 years experience. He gained crucial experience from Sasol 1, 2 and 3, Stein Muller, with this experience behind his back he put to use in the development of the trailer manufacturing.

The organization has been situated strategically within the Walkerville agricultural area as this provides easy access to the surrounding target market such as Orange Farm, Wielers Farm (Majasan) and Ennerdale, whilst allowing the organization to be visible to the passing motorist en-route the R82 old Vereeniging main road, for example, Walkers Fruit Farms, De Deur, Meyerton, Roshnee, etc. which connects us to Sedibeng township areas.

The large property held by the company provides not only a tranquil environment but also the necessary storage and space to work within, which compliments the nature of the business as larger vehicles such as trucks are able to access, deliver to and collect from the manufacturing plant.
